Medias negras, Sí o No?
Este tema me apasiona, porque soy de las que prescindo de usar medias en invierno y muchas veces me miran pensando, está loca.
Me encanta que The Guardian por fin se fijara en los front rows y diera buena fe de lo perfectamente bronceadas que lucen las celebrities piernas de las allí aposadas.
En el terreno patrio la revista Smoda ha hecho acopio de este tema y me ha motivado a escribir un post.
Personalmente tengo un protocolo en lo que a medias de refiere… Mi desconocimiento a este complemento data del año 2007, momento en el llegué a Preston, Inglaterra, a terminar la carrera. Me sorprendió ver cómo en pleno invierno las medias y los abrigos brillaban por su ausencia. Al preguntar a algunas compañeras por qué, si eran atérmicas? Rieron y me contestaron: Darling, el ropero cuesta lo mismo que un chupito, y las medias afean nuestro #outfit. Mi cara fue de pocker, pero he de reconocer que un mes después yo me paseaba por la ciudad sin medias. (Ojo, sin abrigo no, siento demasiado amor por esta prenda).
Mi protocolo personal me lleva a prescindir de ellas durante la noche, salvo que sea un acto formal y siendo muy ordinario ir luciendo carnes, o una reunión dónde cuanto más desapercibida se pase mucho mejor.
Sobre gustos… Colores mil, dicen que los meses con ‘R’ son los correctos para su uso, en vuestro termómetro corporal queda.
Yo al igual que muchas opto por llevar botas altas cuando la temperatura no da respiro.

When is it socially acceptable to wear black tights?
After reading this amazing question on The Guardian and fashion magazine Smoda, I could not avoid the temptation to write about.
I am a great defender of bare legs at night time, since I landed in UK in 2007, and I looked astonished how girls went out… No coat, no tights… I asked to my mates and they told me: Angie, darling, ‘clock-room has the same price than a shot, and if wearing tights and coat we could not show our outfit off’.
We see at the #frontrow of any #fashionshow set in February and there is not room for tights, and thinking as a fashion lover and stylist is very logical, they will be spending time choosing the attire and wanting to press capture the best shot of the look, reason enough they wear sandals if the look really pair with them.
Personally my protocol says: tights just for formal occasions or for a meeting. Calendar’s protocol says: during ‘R’ months, but your personal thermometer has the last word.
