Destino Paradisíaco

Life always surprises you, even when you don’t expect it. One week ago I was walking around one of favorite destination in United States, Nantucket, believe it or not I didn’t prepared the trip, I didn’t have idea how wonderful and wealthy the city was.

The only tip is: forget your heels and bring with your wedges, they will be your best partner in crime when walking the stone pavement.

I love how classy and chic is and overall the beautiful places around where to eat and have fun.

Where to stay? Highly recommend The Wauwinet, a boutique hotel with private beaches on the Atlantic Ocean and Nantucket Bay, and just 15 minutes away from the shopping and dinning area.

What to do? explore the island riding a bike, take advantage of the nature, visit the private beaches, english garden and the lighthouses.

My restaurants: The Topper at The Wauwinet, The Pearl, and Ventuno, and don’t miss the marina to walk around and have a drink.

La vida te sorprende cuando menos lo esperas, y así sin planificarlo me vi con mi maleta una semana en #Nantucket, uno de los lugares con mayor tasa de ricos por metro cuadrado, pero no os confundáis es un tipo de riqueza discreta.

Lo único que os digo es que no abuséis de los tacones, no los necesitaréis, por el contrario elegir unas buenas alpargatas o plataformas, porque las calles empedradas os impedirán caminar con garbo por las calles llenas de historias de esta isla de Massachussets.

Dónde quedarse en Nantucket? No es un lugar económico para pernoctar, ya que vais alojaros que uno de sus hoteles boutique, pequeños hoteles con encanto que os recargarán las pilas, en nuestro caso nos quedamos en The Wauwinet, un enclave impresionante con vistas al Océano Atlántico y a la Bahía de Nantucket.

Qué hacer en Nantucket? Se me ocurre recomendar caminar por las calle empedraras del caso antiguo y visitar alguna de las tiendas con artículos de lujo y únicos, si no queréis gastar podéis ir a montar en bicicleta, visitar algún jardín inglés, uno de lo muchos faros… Opciones tenéis.

Dónde Comer? Cada calle esconde auténticas joyas culinarias: The Pearl, Ventuno, The Topper, y para mirar los inmersos barcos, os recomiendo algún lugar para un cóctel por la marina.
