Primavera-Verano 2016

La clausura de la pasarela MFSHOW primavera-verano 2016 fue una oda a la feminidad, sin importar la talla que se tenga.

Al terminar el desfile de Adolfo Domínguez Plus una periodista de las noticias de TeleMadrid me preguntó que me parecía la iniciativa de las marcas que abogan por unas tallas reales, mi contestación fue rotunda: el estilo no está en la talla, y la moda nada tiene que ver con la fisionomía.

Yo tuve una talla 46 (14 en Estados Unidos) y recuerdo con disgusto que no encontraba nada bonito y juvenil, me da mucha alegría ver cómo las marcas han cambiado de estrategia pensando en las personas que tienen una talla superior a la 44.

Me encantaron estas propuestas, tomar nota que la próxima primavera-verano 2016 serás moda!

The closing of the last MFSHOW was an ode to curvy women, without caring any size.

I was asked by a journalist about my opinion on how brands are focused in the creation of plus sizes in order to get more plus sizes women dressing their designs. My anwered was clear: Fashion is more than the size any person wear, the important thing is style and not the type of body we have.

I wore a XL size and I remember that part of life very painful, not because my weight, because I could not find any modern look, in that time brands did not take attention on trends, and girls with a plus size were dressed like grannies, with all my respect to them, thanks god things have changed.
