Primera Fila, Gente a la MODA y Cotilleos.

MFSHOW Woman de Madrid, me llega a la memoria una frase que me dijo un fotógrafo en la puerta del Lincoln Center: ‘Lo mejor de un desfile está en el backstage y lo mejor de la semana de la moda está en la entrada a cada desfile’.

De pequeña decía que algún día iría a un desfile, y de adulta diré que estar sentado los quince minutos de un desfile es un privilegio, pero más privilegio es poder ver que hay detrás de cada desfile, las caras que hacen posible que cada modelo se transforme ad hoc con cada colección, y las tendencias que vemos… Cada asistente es un universo.

Hablando de universo fashionista, el jueves pasado fue la Vogue Fashion Night Out, y me encanta ver como todo el mundo se lanza a la calle y como muchos se atreven a traspasar el umbral de lugares que no suelen atreverse, animo a todo el mundo a ser atrevido, hay que darle color a la vida, aunque yo profese una fidelidad al color negro que sencillamente es inexplicable.

Mis últimos looks han estado teñidos de azul marino o de negro, cómo el vestido que lucí para acudir a la flagship de Mary Paz, combinado con los stilettos creados en exclusiva para la gran noche de la moda sencillamente fabulosos.

The best part of a week full of fashion events is when remembering any anecdote of what happened at the front row of every show, the rush to be late, trendy people around, and the honor to be at the backstage, where I could see in first person how every model is transformed in order to get the roll every collection needs.

Once, while attending the New York Fashion Week I was told: Angie ‘Fashion is on the Street, not on the catwalk’. I remembered every of those words last Thursday during the Vogue Fashion Night Out, when people dressed up with their best outfits and joined the more fashionable night of the year.

I voted for a total black look, paired with statement complements for my visit to stores and attend Duré Couture Fashion Show.
