Con las pilas bien cargadas, nada mejor que unas vacaciones a la luz del sol en un lugar de ensueño con la mejor puesta de sol que mis lindos ojitos hayan visto.

Me regalaron un viaje sorpresa para empezar bien el año y chicos os juro que el destino me pareció en un principio una pasada, hasta que llegué al resort más exclusivo y espectacular, cuando vas a Turks and Caicos si quieres ser atendido a cuerpo de rey por un staff inigualable os recomiendo Amanyara Resort.

En el camino desde el aeropuerto (25 mins) le pregunté al conductor si el resort tenía algún tipo de diversión, me miró por el retrovisor y me dijo: Not Madam, is a Peaceful place! Vamos el señor habrá pensado, si quiere fiesta que espere volver a USA o a Europa para mover sus latinas caderas.

Al llegar me di cuenta que mi instinto fiestero se vería modificado durante 6 días por actividades como: Yoga, Pilates, y los mejores masajes que podáis  imaginar.

Al llegar a la habitación una bienvenida inigualable: champagne y una degustación de dulces y chocolates típicos, el champagne duró varios días hasta que decidimos abrirlo, los dulces desaparecieron con la luz del alba…

Si estáis considerando ir a esta maravillosa isla del Caribe de la colonia Británica, encontraréis diversidad de nacionalidades: Haitianos, Jamaicanos, Dominicanos, Filipinos y muchos Europeos que vienen a trabajar por temporada.

Al final salimos un día del hotel, por cierto los taxis son más caros que la opción de contratar un chófer privado que la mayoría de los hoteles ofrecen. Caminamos al rededor de la zona más comercial: Grace Bay, no encontré nada que me interesara, y nos fuimos a vivir y sentir la fiesta local: Fish Fried, tiene lugar cada jueves al atardecer, al aire libre,  podréis comer pescado frito, langostas, platos caribeños a precios muy razonables! Me sentí tentada a ordenar una langosta a la plancha y os juro que estaba deliciosa, por fin bailé al ritmo de la música local.

Saborear esta isla tanto como nosotros.

Still pinching myself to realize the amazing trip we had in Turks and Caicos, a paradise in the Caribbean, imagine a rainy day in New York, just 3 hours later we were landing in a sunny and tropical weather!

Staying in the spectacular and magnificent Amanyara Resort for 6 days meant peaceful and style all around, surrounded by the best attentive and professional staff you can imagine.

On the way from the airport I started asking the driver if the resort had a disco bar, he stared at me and said: Not Madame, is a peaceful place, after your days in the Island you are not going to need diversion…but for your information there is a local party every thursday evening known as: Fish Fried, if you want to listen live music I highly recommended.

Imagine my happy face…Thursday by 5.30 pm We were ready for going to walk around the main area, called, Grace Bay, honestly not too much to look around, and not any interesting shops around…then was time to go to the area where Fish Fried takes place every week.

We danced, laughed and ate, yes! If looking for reasonable prices, this is the night!  We had so much fun, a blast night to remember.

On the way back to our hotel we used the private transportation, taking taxis in the island is overrated, and is better to take the option the hotel offers.

I left Turks and Caicos not just happy because the luxurious holidays, also knowing more about the population, is a country oriented to tourism, where live mostly Haitians, Jamaicans,  Dominicans, Philippines, and many European nationalities that come every season to make our stays even better.
