I have been mesmerized by women that don’t age, or at least there is not sign of wrinkles on their faces, but foremost of those who don’t  care to say openly their age.

Weeks ago I had the pleasure to share table on a dinner with a very beautiful and ageless lady, who is turning 50’s this year, I’ve never in my life seen someone so proud of her age, of course  when you are under 30’s and hear someone is turning that milestone, first thing coming to your head is: wow, she is an old lady.. True be told, that is past, nowadays age is just on the ID. We are no getting older, we are getting wiser, age is just a number, all you have to do is taking care of your health and why not: your beauty! Your exterior will help you with your self-esteem.

I was asked by my husband about a big party for my birthday, and honestly next party will be my 40’s, still some years away, but time flies and sooner than later I will be blowing out those candles, I am so happy in my late 30’s skin, in my twenties I was so concern thinking on my thirties missing out so many things, reason why I decided I won’t do the same on my thirties! let’s have fun and drink life by the second.

Enjoy the experience, learning from the bad things and feeling  grateful for all the good things you have been given!

Siempre me he sentido hipnotizada por esas señoras que no envejecen, o como suelo decir: las que envejecen con dignidad, y mucho más importante, las que dicen su edad con orgullo.

Hace unas semanas tuve el placer de degustar buena cena y mucho mejor compañía con una de esas mujeres que celebran cada año como si fuera el mejor, cuando tienes menos de treinta te pasas la vida pensando que una mujer de cincuenta es una señora mayor, que la vida ya no tiene sentido, pero mis lindos, las cosas han cambiado, la edad está en tu documento de identidad como mero dato estadístico, la edad es un número, al final no nos estamos haciendo mayores, sino más sabios e interesantes, tu seguridad se incrementa, cuida tu salud y por qué no: la belleza, si te sientes bien por fuera eso refuerza tu interior.

Me acaban de preguntar si quiero organizar una fiesta por mi cumpleaños y amablemente he declinado la oferta, mi próxima súper fiesta será en mi 40 cumpleaños,  aún me quedan unos años, pero ya sabéis como funciona esto: el tiempo vuela y en breve estaré soplando esa vela. Si en mi veintena me la pasé pensando que sería de mi vida en mis treintas no pienso repetir el mismo patrón, vivamos el hoy que el mañana es incierto.
